Pristina, December 1, 2020
Returnee Miodrag Stašić from Drenovac near Klina was attacked a few days ago in his yard. On November 25, younger people threw stones at Stašić, and on that occasion, the glass on the window of the house was broken.
Today, Stasic informed the representatives of the Ministry of Communities and Returns about this security incident, and on that occasion he pointed out that the problems with the neighbors have become more frequent and will not stop. He says that in addition to letting cattle into the yard, he is often verbally provoked.
The Minister for Communities and Return, Dalibor Jevtić, assessed that the incidents that affected the most vulnerable group of people harm everyone and that urgent steps must be taken to protect returnees.
"One of the basic conditions for the survival of returnees in their homes is to improve their safety. That is why I insist on more efficient work and better results when it comes to shedding light on such and similar cases. "
By the way, this is not the first attack on Miodrag Stasic, he was attacked six months ago.
