The now 18 municipalities in Kosovo, under the slogan "Life must win", the Ministry of Communities and Returns has launched an extensive campaign distribution of 10.8 tons of basic foodstuffs, along with 7,497 pieces of hygiene (in 300 packets) of which will directly benefit have about 907 of the most vulnerable people.
The crisis with which the world is currently facing due to the pandemic corona-virus (Covid-19), united the many institutions, organizations and people of goodwill who are willing to charities fighting against this invisible monsters. Measures of protection against a pandemic by the Government prescribed for citizens further complicate daily life, particularly affecting the most vulnerable among us, and they are: returnees, vulnerable internally displaced persons living in collective centers, welfare recipients, the elderly, persons with disabilities, single parents and isolated members of minority communities. Therefore, the action "Life must win" is aimed at precisely this category of citizens who need help.
Action "Life must win" is being implemented in close cooperation with municipalities, in compliance with all standard precautions for the representatives of the Ministry for Communities and Return and volunteers who participate in the distribution of aid package. Municipalities that are covered by this action are: Istog/Istok, Kamenica/Kamenica, Kllokoti/Klokot, Klina/Klina, Peja/Peć, Prizren/Prizrenn, Rahovec/Orahovac, Liplani/Lipljan, Obiliq/Obilic, Vushtrri/Vučitrn, Shtërpcë/Štrpce, Gnjilane/Gnjilane, Graçanicë/Gračanica, Viti/Vitina, Ferizaj/Uroševac, Ranillug/Ranilug, Partesh/Parteš and Novobërdë/Novo Brdo.
This is also a public appeal to other institutions, organizations and people of good will to join the joint action, for only solidarity can answer an invisible enemy today called Covid-19.
