FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES FOR RETURNEES

Due to the poor economic situation and unemployment, displaced persons and returnees to Kosovo are often unable to equip houses built for their needs by the Ministry of Communities and Returns. Therefore, in some cases, in order to enable the return, integration and immediate immigration of families, the Ministry of Communities and Returns provides additional support to returnees.

Thus, yesterday and today, furniture and necessary household appliances were handed over to 12 returnee families whose houses were recently built in the municipalities of Fushë Kosovë, Štrpce and Istok. Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Communities and Returns has provided similar assistance to 46 returnee families.

Completely equipping returnee houses with furniture and white goods enables equal chances and opportunities for returnees to continue their life in new houses and in conditions worthy of today's man.

The construction and furnishing of returnee houses with furniture and appliances is carried out within the project "Return and Reintegration in Kosovo (EU RRK-5)", funded by the European Union Office in Kosovo, co-financed by the Ministry of Communities and Returns and implemented by the partner International Organization for Migration).
