Youth center opened in Gracanica
Until recently, the youth from Gracanica did not have a place to gather creative people, where youth policies would be developed and positive initiatives would be affirmed in order to improve the lives of youth and members of all communities. That is why the Ministry of Communities and Returns, in cooperation with the local authorities of Gracanica, supported the idea of building a Youth Center, which was officially opened today. The ceremonial commissioning of the Omaldin Center was performed in the presence of Dalibor Jevtić, Minister of Communities and Returns, Goran Rakić, Minister of Local Self-Government, Srdjan Popović, Mayor of Gračanica and representatives of youth organizations of Gračanica.
"This project is an example of what should be a pledge for the future because young people are the foundation of our society. This is a small thing compared to what we as political representatives of Serbs have an obligation to do to make the lives of all our fellow citizens, anywhere to live in Kosovo, improved day by day ", pointed out Minister Dalibor Jevtić at the opening of the Youth Center in Gračanica.
The Youth Center in Gracanica is located in the center of Gracanica, across from the Municipality building. The opening of the Youth Center represents a step forward and a positive step forward in terms of the quality of life of youth, returnees and members of all communities.
The total value of the project is 47,485 euros. The Ministry of Communities and Returns, in cooperation with the European Union Office in Kosovo, participated in the implementation of the project with EUR 31,208, while the contribution of the municipality was EUR 16,276.
