Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic met today with Ana Rostocki, head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Kosovo, and discussed with her the continuation and deepening of cooperation on joint projects to support returnees and communities - RRK 5 and the Community Stabilization Program (CSP).
At the meeting, it was emphasized that continued support for these projects is of the utmost importance and that the common goal of the Ministry for Communities and Return and IOM is to continue the projects with the continuity with which they were started, as it is of the utmost importance to help families to ensure their livelihood through these programs, sources of income and survival in Kosovo.
It was concluded that in the coming period there will be work to improve the coordination of joint activities as the Ministry for Communities and Returns and IOM are true partners who share common goals.
Also today, under the RRK 5 project realized by the Ministry for Communities and Return together with the Office of the European Union in Kosovo, implemented by IOM, in order to secure its own income, five families from Graqanicë/Gracanica, Babimofc/Babin Most and Obiliq/Obilic received assistance in agricultural machinery and tools. When awarding the assistance package, it was said that this was just one of the ways this Ministry would help families survive in Kosovo. It is stated that this and similar types of assistance will continue in the future.
