Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic, met today with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, His Excellency Philip Kosnett. Ministry's current plans for return and reintegration of returnees, problems of non-majority communities, continued dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, unconditional abolition of taxes on imports of goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, fight against corruption are just some of the topics discussed at this meeting.
"The continuation of dialogue, the unconditional and immediate abolition of taxes and the fight against corruption have no alternative. The Ministry for Communities and Return will give its full contribution to the fight against corruption, and in this regard we have initiated the introduction of a special line for reporting corruption, ”said Minister Jevtic.
Jevtic thanked the ambassador for the support and assistance America continually provides to non-majority communities in protecting their rights but also in their economic empowerment in Kosovo.
